This seminar, presented by Anna Skurczynska founder and principal of Open Plan Law, will be the first in a series of three devoted to copyright in the images industry. This initial seminar will cover some basic principles of the protection afforded by copyright and its exploitation.

The seminar will be divided into two parts, with the first part focusing on what copyright protects and who is entitled to claim such protection. The second part will be zooming in on the legal forms through which copyright works are monetised. We will end the seminar considering copyright in the international context.

In the subsequent seminar we will discuss infringement and finally move on to issues arising out of the use and licensing of photographic content online.
