Nature Picture Library press release
Nature Picture Library will be at footageMarketplace on Wednesday 25th May at 195 Piccadilly, London W1 (the home of BAFTA).
footageMarketplace is the leading international event for footage buyers and researchers, and entry is free to pre-registered buyers. Bristol-based Nature Picture Library will be on table 22, ready to tell you more about their footage collection and to show you their new showreels. They have more than 5000 clips available to search, play and download from their site, now with an expanded footage gallery section including latest highlights and showreels. Tim Harris, Sales Manager, says, “The venue at 195 Piccadilly is ideal for talking to footage buyers and also for networking with others in the industry.”
35 exhibitors will be at the prestigious venue – the home of BAFTA, on 25th May. New this year is a series of industry seminars covering a variety of important cutting edge topics, including a keynote speech from Peter Stower of YouTube.
Tim Harris says, “We were really impressed at our first footageMarketplace to meet with several new clients with live requests we were able to fulfil.” In addition to the footage available from NaturePL’s website, their network of contributors is often able to help implement difficult nature and wildlife footage requests. Tim Harris adds, “We welcome the opportunity footageMarketplace provides to talk to footage buyers across all sectors, from television production companies to corporates, non-profits and educational publishers, and to show them the kind of high quality specialist video content available from Nature Picture Library. We’ve added a lot of great new video content to our site since last year, and expanded our footage galleries and our YouTube offering. We will have plenty of NPL memory sticks to give away, complete with our new multimedia showreel ‘Nature in Motion’.”
