PA Images, the UK’s leading news, sport and entertainment image provider, has appointed Stephen Munday as Managing Director.
Stephen will be responsible for managing and growing one of the largest and prestigious images libraries in the UK. He joins from Getty Images where his career spanned over twenty years, including roles as Vice President of Commercial Operations and Vice President of Global Editorial Product Development. During his time at Getty, he played a key role in significantly growing Getty Images’ UK Editorial business.

Stephen commences the role with immediate effect and will be based in Nottingham.
PA Images is one of the largest, oldest and most prestigious image libraries in the UK. As part of the Press Association (PA), PA Images manages an archive of millions of images that stretches from Queen Victoria to Princess Charlotte, and sells around the globe. With more than 20 million images online, the archive is supported by a network of more than 50 international picture agencies and is updated daily with new content from picture desks around the world.
